A standardized glucose-insulin-potassium infusion protocol in surgical patients: Use of real clinical data from a clinical data warehouse

We proposed and validated a standardized infusion protocol using real-world clinical data from a hospital data warehouse. This work highlights how large-scale clinical datasets can support practical decision-making in surgery.

Efficiency Evaluation of Sparsified Homomorphic Encryption in Federated Learning

We measured what homomorphic encryption actually costs in federated learning, and how much of that cost sparsification can recover. On MNIST, Top-k sparsification cut communication by 4.3x and training time by 1.6x, at the price of 1.2%p accuracy.

IoT-based Mailbox System using Android and Arduino

Published in Korea Information Processing Society (KIPS) Spring Conference, 2015

An undergraduate project connecting a physical mailbox to a phone. A sensor detects mail arrival, an Arduino board relays the event, and an Android app notifies the user. My first work on systems that handle something people care about keeping private.
