Overview
I work on verifiable computation and privacy-preserving computation. I ask how we can compute over sensitive data without exposing it, and how we can verify that a system behaved as intended without revealing more than necessary.
Before focusing on cryptography, I worked with data in finance, healthcare, and consumer technology. That experience motivates me to study protections that are built into computation itself.
✨ About
I am a full-time researcher at the Privacy-preserving Machine Learning and Cryptography Lab (PMLC Lab) at Sejong University, advised by Prof. Eunsang Lee (이은상).
🔍 Research interests
My research interests center on verifiable computation and privacy-preserving computation, broadly within applied cryptography. Much of my current work explores these ideas in machine learning and AI systems, particularly when security guarantees must hold in the presence of malicious participants or unintended information leakage.
- Verifiable Computation — zero-knowledge proofs and related techniques for model certification, including correctness and fairness guarantees, with attention to soundness gaps that malicious model trainers could exploit
- Privacy-Preserving Computation — homomorphic encryption and secure multi-party computation for secure, communication-efficient learning over distributed or sensitive data, including federated learning
- AI Security and Privacy — attacks, privacy leakage, and unintended disclosures across AI models, tool use, and system interfaces, including agentic-AI traces and metadata

Hobbies
- Running
Running helps me treasure fleeting moments of life. After a rainy night, the fresh morning air along the Han River always reminds me how precious the present is.
